Logan Schaffer
I’ve grown up in and around salons my whole life. Every day after school, I would sit in the lobby snacking on candy, watching my mom sculpt and color hair; each person would leave happier than they came in, which inspired me to do hair in the first place. Melanie Sewell
Melanie comes to Jazba with over 30 years of experience and a wicked sense of humor. After years of traveling, working for and learning from some of the best in the industry, she put down roots in Bend to raise her daughter. Her passion for learning the latest techniques, and for coffee, hasn't diminished. Melanie's first love is color and that is her specialty, specifically grey blending, with training in an ever evolving variety of color and highlighting techniques. She'll pair that with meticulous attention to detail to create a versatile haircut customized just for you. My passion for beauty and art started at a young age and has progressed into my profession. Dustin McFarland
Dustin has had many adventures in the hair industry starting out at the young age of 15. His career started with an apprenticeship in Santa Barbara California. As he learned from some of the best in the hair industry his skills progressed and he found success in a demanding high profile clientele. Dustin specializes in transforming hair through color such as blonding and balayage. He is also a hair extension specialist trained in all forms of extensions such as beaded wefts for maximum length or volume. Shelby Cockett
Shelby has been in the industry for more than 19 years now, and is happy to be part of the Jazba team. With a free spirit and a passion for living life to the fullest, she loves doing hair and being creative. She says it's fun to do color outside the lines when being creative period along with learning the latest techniques, she always tries to perfect her craft on a day-to-day basis. Shelby tries to make every person that sits in her chair feel great about themselves and have a great experience getting their hair done. When she is not in the salon creating beautiful hair she can be found enjoying the outdoors camping, swimming, shooting, and hiking. Rachel Morrison
Rachel Morrison is a Bend, OR native who’s obsessed with all things hair and fashion. Starting from a young age, Rachel was destined to be a hairstylist. She graduated from Phagan’s Cosmetology School in Bend in 2016. From there, she went on to apprentice and assist under Dustin McFarland for her first two years as a licensed hairstylist. Rachel specializes in beautiful, blended balayage, fashion colors, precision cuts, blonding, and every shade of red. Rachel’s favorite thing about being a stylist is being able to create something beautiful, whilst making her clients look and feel their best.
